Emergencies

We are not an emergency hospital; however, we do our best to help with emergencies during our normal business hours when possible. Outside of normal business hours, if you are a current client and you need advice, or if your pet has a problem that may be solved with oral medication, please call our main clinic number at 719-451-2210 and leave a voicemail with your contact info. Dr. Jodi will call you back when she can.

If you have a pet emergency outside of our normal business hours and you feel your pet needs to be examined by a veterinarian, please call Alpine Vet Hospital in Monte Vista at 719-852-2561. Other than Alpine, the closest urgent care clinic is Riverview Animal Hospital in Durango: 970-247-8545. They provide emergency care on weekends and holidays. They are open Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am - 6 pm for emergencies only. The closest 24 hour emergency hospital is AERC in Colorado Springs. Their phone number is 719) 260-7141. Location: 5520 N.
