Have a pet emergency?

If it is during normal business hours, please give us a call at 719-451-2210 so that we can prepare for your visit. Unless we are extremely busy with other urgently ill patients, we can usually accommodate emergencies during our normal business hours.

Outside of normal business hours?

If you are not a current client, we are unfortunately unable to see emergencies at this time as we only have 1 veterinarian. Please call Alpine Veterinary Hospital in Monte Vista at 719-852-2561. They have multiple veterinarians on staff and have an “on call” veterinarian.

If you are a current client, please call and LEAVE A MESSAGE at 719-451-2210. Unless the voicemail message says otherwise, Dr. Jodi will call you back as soon as she is able. She can offer advice, Rx oral or topical medication if appropriate, and can do in person ER visits at the clinic depending on her schedule. If you need truly urgent care and cannot wait for a call back, then we recommend you call Alpine Veterinary Hospital in Monte Vista at 719-852-2561 . The next closest ER/urgent care option is in Durango at Riverview Animal Hospital; their number is 970-247-8545.
